Basic Life Support

A 3 hour course to enable trainees to recognise and treat life threatening conditions at first aid level including the use of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Emergency Life Support

ELS is a 6 hour course acting as a development on the BLS course, incorporating BLS content and covering other life threatening conditions, including how to use an AED and how to report incidents.

Paediatric First Aid

A first aid course designed for those who may be required to administer first aid to children and infants. This course is available at Level 2 and Level 3:

 

Level 2 is a 1 day course which may suit parents or families, or those who do not require the full Level 3 qualification.

Level 3 is a 2 day course for those in a professional or voluntary role such as teachers and carers, and meets the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register and partly fulfils obligations under the statutory framework issued by the Department for Education and Skills.

First Aid at Work

The First Aid at Work course is a 3 day course designed to provide the workplace First Aider with the necessary skills and confidence to provide emergency cover at first aid level, in line with revised HSE guidelines. The FAW course is the standard, recognised qualification for any first aider in the UK.

Emergency First Aid At Work

Designed to satisfy the requirements of small or low risk workplaces, or larger companies requiring a back up for their First Aider, this 6 hour course is a precursor to the full FAW course preparing the trainee for emergency situations at work.

First Aid At Work - Refresher course

Strongly recommended by the HSE, this 3 hour course enables the qualified first aider to update their FAW skills during the 3 year period.

First Aid At Work - Requalification

This 2 day requalification course is designed to meet the HSE requirements for the maintenance of the First Aider's FAW certificate after expiry of the initial certificate and to server as a refresher course.

Automated External Defibrillation

The 4 hour AED course is designed to give the trainee the confidence and knowledge to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) effectively in a life threatening situation. Ideal for the general public.

Anaphylaxis First Aid

This 3 hour course is designed to provide training in awareness and treatment of severe allergic reaction of anaphylactic shock. Ideal for the general public.
